Do you ever feel like there is something blocking your ability to attract wealth and abundance? Perhaps you’ve read all the books on the Law of Attraction and financial freedom, but things aren’t working out. You may be losing hope that you can do it.
Well, what if we looked at things differently. Maybe we are blocking abundance simply by seeking power from outside ourselves.
I believe we frequently block abundance by not understanding or trusting our own power. And to make matters worse, we look at where we are currently with such harsh judgement. Have you said to yourself that you’re good enough, smart enough, or “lucky” enough?
Creating abundance is more than trusting the Law of Attraction. It’s trusting ourselves and understanding our own power.
The key to creating abundance is tapping into that innate power to create what we desire.
Creating abundance can be EASY, even though the ego (or our human mind) would like us to think that it’s hard.
Four Common Abundance Blocks
Society gives us many mixed messages, but the most damaging message is that we are not powerful enough to create what we want.
Think about the stories we tell:
You have to be lucky
The rich get richer
Life is hard
These beliefs are simply not true. It’s doesn’t have to be hard, and we do deserve it.
The rich get richer because they believe they can create wealth.
The good news is that you can train yourself to believe this too. We already have the power to create what we want, as our Prosperity Challenge community has learned.
The second way we block abundance is by not appreciating what we do have. Many of us judge where we are as not enough. We feel we don’t deserve better or conclude it is not our “lot in life” to have what we want. We cannot be in judgement and appreciation at the same time.
The trick is to be happy in the now, while creating the vision of what you want in the future.
Happiness is not tied to attaining the vision, but rather the pursuit of it, as well as gratitude for what we already have. Happiness will accelerate your vision, but it shouldn’t be tied to it.
Breaking this pattern can be as simple as two “Abundance hacks”:
Look for the luck! I met someone recently who constantly won prizes. Whether it was a slot machine or bingo, she won frequently. This fascinated me and I kept asking her questions until I could boil it down. She just looked for the luck. As simple as this sounds, it is this simple. She never worried about losing or not winning, she just looked for the luck. What IF you were lucky? What IF it came easy? If you want it to be that way, start looking for all the ways you are lucky!
Be perpetually in play. The Law of Attraction says that “like attracts like.” Your joy will attract more joy. You have control over how you feel. You have the power to control what you attract.
Another way we block abundance is with impatience. When we try to force an outcome (to make things happen sooner), we block the natural process of creating and end up slowing things down. Have you ever seen a driver speed past you on the road just to get stuck behind some other obstacle you couldn’t see? Trust the process. Let go of the internal clock telling you “It’s too slow, something’s wrong.”
The biggest breakthroughs in my life came from accepting responsibility for the way things are, rather than blaming others. Especially when it comes to abundance.
You’ve probably heard of the fight or flight response. It’s believed that in a fearful or stressful situation, you either fight or flee.
When speaking of fight or flight, most of us imagine dangerous circumstances where our lives are at risk. If you’ve experienced that, you know how you will react. If you haven’t, you probably have an expectation of whether you’d respond with fight or flight.
But what if the fear is in the subconscious or unconscious mind? Would you even be aware your mind is reacting to protect you from that fear?
If you are unable to achieve your goals, your mind is probably going into “flight” mode. You have some fear around success and you’re running from it. Whether you know it or not, your fear is blocking your abundance.
The first step to overcoming any fear is to recognize it and bring awareness to it. Once you’ve done that, you can begin to identify when fear is creeping in and you can face it directly.
Are you ready for a more abundant life? Are you open to a new way of accomplishing goals? Whether it’s financial success, increased positivity, better relationships, physical well-being or more happiness, you can create what you want effortlessly and consistently. And we can show you how with the Prosperity Challenge. Stop blocking abundance and create the life you want.
Learn how to manage your energy and emotions to overcome negative feelings, so you can open yourself to possibilities you might otherwise be closed off to. Once you’ve mastered a mindset conducive to abundance, you’re not only open to new ideas, you seek them out.
