Have you ever wondered how to succeed in life? This can be a complicated question because success in life is not a one-size-fits-all solution.

So, to find the answer, we’ll need to start with the basics. Success is defined as, “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.”

If you have any familiarity with Succeed On Purpose, you can probably guess where we’re going with this. Yes, the best way to succeed in life is to find and live on your purpose.

Let us show you how to do just that!

The Secret for How to Succeed In Life

Many people confuse their purpose with their job or try to make their purpose fit with what they expect it to be. But that’s not how it works.

Purpose is found where what you love, what you’re good at, what adds value, and what makes money intersect.

At Succeed On Purpose, we guide individuals to their purpose using a proven process that results in a two-word purpose statement.

Take the Get Clarity course and take the first steps toward success in life.

Put Your Purpose Into Action

So, how do you live on your purpose? Succeed On Purpose Founder, Terri Maxwell, developed a formula for helping you live on your purpose. We teach this in our program, The Prosperity Challenge. As a preview, we’d like to give you some insights using the steps below so you can begin to succeed in life.

Create Prosperity & Abundance

1: Know What We Want is Possible

For many of us, we don’t believe we can have what we really want. We help you develop the skills to pull yourself out of any hopeless or negative place so you’re open to possibilities you might otherwise be closed off to. Once you’ve mastered putting yourself in an optimistic and open mindset, you are not only open to new ideas, but you actually seek them out.

2: Slow Down and Connect - Use your ABCs

Sometimes we need tools to release negativity. Remove energy blocks using this simple process.

3: Clarify Your Desire

Once you’ve cleared your energy and focus on the present moment, it’s much easier to identify what you want, and then you just have to ask for it.

You can ask for a specific thing, like money, a job, or a relationship. And although there's debate about whether it’s best to be general or specific, it really doesn’t matter. The most important thing is that you feel good about the desire and the desire is something you actually want or need. Our research has confirmed that the more we want something, the easier it is to create it.

You can also ask fora solution or guidance, such as what job to apply for, whether it is the right time to start a purposeful business, or how to address a faltering relationship. If you want a solution, it can be co-created.

4: Focus Your Energy

Before acting, take a few minutes to focus your energy on the most positive thoughts and emotions.

Just visualize having what you desire. How does it feel? Or write down the sentence,“I’m so happy and grateful now that (fill in the blank)”.

Feel what it feels like to have it. Feel grateful before it comes.

Focusing your energy before acting keeps us in the flow or receiving rather than trying to MAKE something happen.

5: Take Inspired Action

Co-creating is the ability to remain open to what the universe has to offer rather than being closed off from inspiration.

Co-creation asks us to do our part by following “inspired next steps,” which will feel like guidance from our spiritual counterpart, whether you call it God, Creator, theUniverse, Source, or something else.

If you are open to possibilities, you will know what action to take and when, and it won’t feel like an effort.

Once we know the next step, simply take that action. Be ready to move forward. You can’t just sit back and wait for opportunities to be served to you. We cannot win the lottery if we don't buy a ticket!

6: Put It All Together & Repeat

Goat your own speed: take baby steps, giant leaps, or anything in-between. Take a break once or twice a day and reconnect (ABCs) to re-evaluate your plan, so you’re moving forward in alignment and staying in the flow.
